2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account via Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In).
• Photos: Personal photos you upload for virtual try-on, and clothing/product images you add to your wardrobe.
• Wardrobe Data: Clothing item details including names, categories, subcategories, colors, patterns, seasons, occasions, and wear counts.
• Outfit Data: Outfits you create, calendar entries, and style preferences.
• Social Content: Posts, comments, and likes you share on the community feed.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: With your permission, we access your approximate location (latitude and longitude) to provide weather-based outfit suggestions. This data is sent to the OpenWeather API to retrieve current weather conditions.
• Usage Data: Basic app interaction data for improving the user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve Clozette's features:

• Wardrobe Management: Storing and organizing your clothing items and outfits.
• AI Outfit Suggestions: Analyzing your wardrobe metadata (item names, categories, colors, patterns, seasons, occasions, and wear counts) along with current weather data to generate personalized outfit recommendations.
• Virtual Try-On: Processing your personal photo and clothing images to generate AI-powered try-on visualizations.
• Product Analysis: Analyzing product and clothing images to automatically detect and categorize items (category, colors, pattern, seasons).
• Weather Integration: Using your location to fetch weather data for weather-appropriate outfit suggestions.
• Social Features: Enabling community interactions through the feed, follows, and notifications.
• Account Management: Authenticating your identity and managing your account.

4. AI Features & Third-Party Data Sharing

Clozette uses artificial intelligence to power several core features. When you use these features, specific data is sent to third-party AI services for processing:

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

• Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. This permanently removes your account information, wardrobe data, outfits, try-on history, and social content.
• AI Processing: Data sent to Google Gemini for AI features is processed in real-time and is subject to Google's API Terms of Service. We do not separately store the data sent to or received from Gemini beyond what is needed to display results to you.
• Individual Items: You can delete individual wardrobe items, outfits, and posts at any time within the app.

6. Your Rights & Controls

You have control over your data:

• AI Consent: You must explicitly consent to AI data processing before any AI features are used. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings, which will disable AI-powered features.
• Location Access: You can grant or revoke location permissions through your device settings at any time.
• Photo Access: You control which photos are shared with the app through your device's photo library permissions.
• Account Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from the Profile > Settings screen.
• Data Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is protected by Firebase's security infrastructure. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication with support for Google and Apple sign-in providers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Clozette is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
